Angel’s Attic: The Best Little Resale Shop in The Enchanted Circle!

Driving through Eagle Nest, New Mexico, residents and visitors alike are amazed to see plenty of cars in and around the parking lot of a big brown building that says “Angel’s Attic, Resale Shop” on the front and are intrigued just enough to stop in and see what treasures they might find.

Angel’s Attic began over twenty years ago in a closet at Angel Fire Baptist church and quickly outgrew the space. We have been blessed with a few locations in Eagle Nest until a dozen or so years ago where we are now.

Angel’s Attic is a very important ministry of our church where we want to meet your spiritual needs as well as your physical needs.

Our ministry exists for the glory of Jesus Christ. We not only sell our donated items at a fair market price we help the entire valley and beyond, spreading the love of Christ. Angel’s Attic gives teachers supplies they need and clothing for their students so teachers do not have to pay out of their own pockets.

We give items to the Reintegration Center to help troubled youth with clothing, shoes and even furniture when starting their own housing. We give items to our local Fire Department, the Senior Center and many community needs such as a full house of items when fires have destroyed all the families own.

When we feel that we can’t sell clothing or household items, we send it on in a large trailer almost weekly to Big Brother, Big Sister in Taos. We also send excellent baby items to the local Pregnancy Center, and give new and gently used items to Operation Christmas Child each year.

Our communities and beyond, are generous to donate all the items in our store and two garages.

Our hard working volunteers sort, organize and set out gently used and often new items that are not ripped, stained or soiled. We have clothing, shoes, boots, ski wear, jewelry, kitchenware, linens and more. We also receive furniture, flat screen TV sets and good bedding.

The Attic doesn’t accept broken furniture, exercise equipment, tires or most appliances. We suggest that you call our store before planning to donate large items because we may not have the room to keep them.

Angel’s Attic supports ministries and missions to help those who choose to spread The Gospel all over the world. All of your purchases go into supporting these ministries and missions.

Our store is run by hard working volunteers, our store manager, Gay Nystrom, wife to Brian Nystrom, the pastor of Angel Fire Baptist Church, and our two hardest working assistant managers, Jim Cannaday and Ladell Collier, who are primarily responsible for unloading your donations and loading your heavy purchases. It is each of our goals to keep our store clean, organized and friendly.

We are always willing to bless you, pray for you and your family, pray with you, and above all share the gospel, the love of Jesus, with you without any commitment to make a purchase. Some people love to drop in to chat with us and frequently end up buying a treasure or two they just can’t resist.

There are so many choices continuously set out, you really should drop by to see us during store hours. Thursday and Friday, 10:00 am until 2:45pm and Saturday 10:00 am until 1:45 pm. You may make donations anytime, around back of the building behind the blue sliding door. Remember our motto, “if you wouldn’t buy it yourself, then please don’t donate it”.
