Restaurant Review:

Thai Angel - Eagle Nest & Angel Fire

Thai Angel | Main St. | Eagle Nest

If you have not yet been to a great Asian restaurant in Eagle Nest, you are missing a great meal. Thai Angel is located on Thelma Dr. (Hwy 64) right in the heart of the strip of shops. Next door to Zelia’s Kitchen, you will find this quaint, clean, quiet restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining for your pleasure, or take out as well.

Owner and lead chef, Anchalee, has over twenty years of experience creating Thai cuisine around the world. Only the freshest ingredients go into the dishes at Thai Angel.

It may take a few extra minutes for your meal, but you can be assured there is nothing prepared until you order it. There are two locations, the restaurant in Eagle Nest, and Thai Angel Kitchen, food truck at Frontier Park in Angel Fire. Both locations are open every day except Tuesday. Hours are 11am-7pm daily.

Thai Angel has daily curry specials, as well as a full menu of stir fry dishes, noodle dishes, soups, appetizers, and desserts. The restaurant is very clean, the patio and inside. The tables to the floors were spotless. Their “all gender” bathroom was equally

as clean and spotless.

This reviewer started the meal with crisp chicken spring rolls that were served with homemade sweet chili sauce for dipping. Then sweet and sour chicken stir fry was served with a large portion of jasmine rice cooked to perfection. I highly recommend you try that dish. We topped off the meal with a serving of coconut ice cream that was topped with a warm coconut cookie like treat, sprinkled with peanuts. A delightful way to finish off the meal. This reviewer will most definitely eat at Thai Angel again. A big bonus here in Eagle Nest is that they take credit cards! I’ve got to go back and try the coconut chicken soup, and garlic beef stir fry! They do not have the staff for phone orders yet. They are busy creating you meal from scratch with the freshest ingredients available that day. For those who are like me, and don’t care for too much heat, they will serve their red chili peppers on the side of your dish upon request so you can have it mild to extra spicy! Give either location a try,

but this reviewer like the sit down dining in the quaint little restaurant in Eagle Nest.

You won’t be disappointed!
